Committee Briefs |
August 7, 2008 |
At its meeting on August 7, the College welcomed committee member Mariana Lake to her first meeting of Citizens Oversight Committee. |
Committee members received and approved a second draft of the narrative portion of the Measure R Annual Report to the Community. |
In response to the committee’s request to staff for a summary report of budget, cost to date and completion estimates of Measure R projects, the committee was presented with a detailed and comprehensive report, in project order. Also included was information related to facilities planning and the College’s Master Plan, capacity-to-load ratios, and budget/specification sheets for proposed projects. |
President Nixon reported that enrollment is up 4% from this time last year, and stated that Mt. SAC sustained minimal damage to facilities from the July 27 earthquake. Damages, however, will more than likely total close to $400,000. |
