Associate in Arts Degrees

Mt. SAC offers two Associate in Arts (A.A.) degrees in Transfer Studies, which are designed to meet the needs of students planning to transfer to a four-year college or university:
  • A.A. Transfer Studies/CSU—intended for students planning to transfer to one of the campuses of the California State University system
  • A.A. Transfer Studies/IGETC—intended for students planning to transfer to a University of California campus (also accepted by CSU). IGETC stands for Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum.
