Mt. SAC is among the
largest of 109 community colleges in California. Situated
on 400 sprawling acres, the scenic campus is located in
the city of Walnut, which is bordered by West Covina,
Pomona, Diamond Bar, and the city of Industry in the bustling
eastern San Gabriel Valley.
The campus is off the
San Bernardino (10) Fwy. and the 57 Fwy. next door to
Cal Poly Pomona, which is a partner with Mt. SAC on a
number of programs and services.
The campus is freeway
close to a number of southland amenities, including mountain
resorts, theme parks, beaches, shopping malls, theaters
and sports arenas.
The Mt. SAC campus
itself is a cultural and athletic hub as well, as sponsor
to world-class entertainment and artistic programs at
its Performing
Arts Center
and as the host of the annual Mt.
SAC Relays—the
world’s largest track and field invitational.
Our campus is undergoing
a major
expansion effort
to keep pace with the growing need for state-of-the-art
facilities and technology. These enhancements support
the College's ongoing commitment to complement quality
instruction with a learning environment that enhances
student success.
It's also another reason
Mt. SAC has become one of the finest colleges in America.
