Who may attend?

How do I apply?

Answer all questions on the application for admission, including Major code. All new and returning students must complete the application. Returning students must also re-apply if they have not enrolled for at least a year. Completed application for admission must be submitted to the Mt. San Antonio College. The preferred application method is online. If you are unable to apply online or in person a completed hard-copy application may be mailed to:

Complete and submit a Mt. SAC Admission Application online or in person to the Admissions Office (Bldg. 16F). Students transferring from other colleges must have their transcripts sent to Mt. SAC's Admissions & Records Office at the address above.

Make an appointment for the required placement test(s) in English, reading, and/or math. Call the Assessment Center at (909) 594-5611 ext. 4265 to make an appointment or visit in person (Bldg. 16C). Applicants must take Mt. SAC's placement tests unless they have already completed transfer-level English and math classes. Mt. SAC does not accept placement test results from other colleges.

Make an appointment for a New Student Orientation. Call the Counseling Office at (909) 594-5611 ext. 4380 or visit in person at the Student Services Center. You must complete Step 2 before you do Step 3. At orientation, a counselor will review your placement test scores and help you select your courses based on your test scores. Counselors will also review Graduation and university transfer requirements.

Register for classes online or by telephone based on the date and time printed on your Permit to Register. Register online at http://my.mtsa.edu using your Student ID number and PIN. If this is your first time registering, you'll be prompted to change you PIN. Be sure to write it down for future reference. Pay your fees online with a credit or debit card at http://www.mymtsac.edu or in person at the Bursar's Office (Bldg. 9A) next to Bookstore

If you need Financial Aid, you can apply for fee waivers to cover enrollment costs with the Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGW) program. Applications are available at the Financial Aid Office or online at http://www.mtsac.edu/students/finaid/forms.html. Grants (free money), loans, and work study are also available by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.gov.
